It’s easy to understand why tourists are flocking to Croatia.

Firstly there are the Croatian Islands. Croatia is home to more than 1000 islands along the Adriatic Sea. The crystal clear waters of the Dalmatian Islands have attracted the likes of celebrities such as Beyoncé and Jay-Z. In recent years they have also become a popular summer vacation spot for European holidaymakers.

Secondly there are the old towns. Croatia is home to a number of remarkably well preserved old towns. None is more famous than the old town of Dubrovnik, which was also the filming location of the smash hit HBO series Game of Thrones. Fans of the show flock to Dubrovnik every year to see this gorgeous city for themselves.

Thirdly there is the delicious food. With an extensive coastline running along the Adriatic Sea, Croatia is blessed with an abundance of fresh tasty seafood. You can’t come to the country without sampling dishes like black risotto, grillled squid and tuna steak. Don’t forget to sample the local dishes while you’re there. Some of our favourites include štrukli, odrezak and Zagrebačka kremšnita. Furthermore the extremely rare white truffle is grown in Croatia.
