Montenegro is the perfect affordable European destination. We were impressed at how cheap and easy it is to travel around the country. It is much more affordable than its more popular neighbour Croatia and it also has plenty of highlights to make for the perfect holiday. Conveniently, most of the major tourist attractions are located within a short drive of each other. Montenegro is also very easy to get around by bus. The country is home to some spectacular scenery, particular around the Bay of Kotor as well as the beaches.
