Tirana Travel
Albania’s capital is colourful, unique and constantly changing. Remnants of its communist past can be seen in its brutalist architecture in buildings like the Pyramid of Tirana and Enver Hoxha’s bunkers. However much is being done to bring those spaces into the modern day. The pyramid is currently being converted into youth IT centre and a couple of the bunkers are now museums. As you walk around the city it is hard not to see the incredible progress that the city is undergoing. There are vibrant parks and city squares, colourful skyscrapers, impressive religious buildings and a community atmosphere. The city has amazing restaurants and cafes and so much to enjoy.
